Local Barred Owl Colorized

Hoot owl is in the neighborhood!!!

Thanks to a very good friend, photographer, and wildlife spotter @melissa67gibson! I accepted her invitation to join her in an idyllic NC wooded area and photograph this handsome male Barred Owl. It’s breeding season so he’s looking out for his lady life partner who is probably nesting on an egg or two in a tree cavity nearby.
